UPSC Recruitment 2024 Apply For 2253 Post’s

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has initiated its recruitment drive for 2024, inviting online applications for the positions of Nursing Officer and Personal Assistant. In this recruitment cycle, a total of 2253 vacancies will be filled, with 1930 positions allocated for Nursing Officers within the Employees State Insurance Corporation under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, and 323 openings for Personal Assistants in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, also under the Ministry of Labour & Employment.

For the role of Personal Assistant, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and fall within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years. On the other hand, candidates applying for the ESIC Nursing Officer position should have completed B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing, Regular B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, along with being registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife. Alternatively, they can possess a Diploma in General Nursing Mid-Wifery and one year of experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital. The age limit for this position is also set between 18 to 30 years.

Selected Nursing Officers will be placed at Level – 07 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC, with an application fee of Rs. 25/- applicable for all candidates, except for Female/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from paying the fee.
