Big Update Regarding Summer Vacations in Summer Zone of Jammu Division

Order Regarding Summer Vacations in Summer Zone of Jammu Division

ORDER NO.6. DSEJ of 2024,DATED: 22-05-2024

It has come to our attention that a false notice has been circulating regarding the summer vacations for schools in the summer zone of Jammu division. The fake notice claims that all government and recognized private schools will observe summer vacations from 27-05-2024 to 22-07-2024.

We would like to clarify that this information is entirely untrue and has not been issued by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ). There has been no official order regarding summer vacations for this period. All schools should continue to follow their regular schedule until an official announcement is made.

The fabricated notice also falsely states that teachers must remain available for online guidance during the alleged vacation period and that any non-compliance by school heads or teaching staff would result in disciplinary action. This is also untrue and should be disregarded by all educational institutions.

We urge all school administrators, teachers, parents, and students to verify any such information through official channels before acting upon it. The DSEJ will communicate any updates or changes regarding school schedules through the proper official channels and not through unofficial or unverified sources.

Spreading false information can cause unnecessary confusion and disruption. We are actively investigating the source of this fake notice and will take appropriate action against those responsible for disseminating false information.

For accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the official website of the Directorate of School Education, Jammu, or contact the DSEJ office directly. We appreciate the cooperation of all stakeholders in maintaining the integrity of our educational system.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please remain vigilant and ensure that you are receiving accurate information from verified sources.
