28-year-old Muzaffar Sheikh Succumbs to Injuries Following Benhama Road Accident
Ganderbal, May 15 (WD): An 18-year-old youth tragically lost his life in a road accident in the Benhmana area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials, the youth, identified as Muzaffar Ahmed Sheikh, son of Mohd Shafi Sheikh from Wussan, was critically injured after being hit by an Alto Car with registration number JKO1H-1925.
Immediately following the incident, Muzaffar was rushed to a nearby health facility for initial treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to SKIMS, Soura for specialized care.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Muzaffar Ahmed Sheikh succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura.
After completing the necessary medico-legal formalities, the authorities handed over Muzaffar’s body to his family for the last rites.
The tragic accident has left the local community in mourning, highlighting the ongoing concerns regarding road safety in the area.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and have registered a case to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
