Driver dies, another injured In JK Road accident
One person was killed, and another injured in a tragic accident on the Jammu-Rajouri highway in the Jammu division. According to an official statement, the incident involved a Maruti Eco with registration number JK11E-3029, traveling from Jammu to Rajouri. Near Thalka, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road.
The driver, identified as Zabeer Ahmed, aged 20 and son of Mohd Akram from Rajouri, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the other occupant of the vehicle, Wajid Hussain Shah, aged 25 and son of Farzan Hussain Shah, sustained minor injuries and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The body of the deceased is being transported to SDH Nowshera for necessary legal procedures, while authorities have initiated further investigation into the accident.
