SKUAST-Kashmir Launches Recruitment Drive for Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist Roles

SKUAST-Kashmir has initiated a recruitment drive to fill Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist positions. The interviews for these roles are scheduled to be held from January 10th to 12th, 2024, at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Main Campus, SKUAST-K, Shalimar.
The recruitment drive encompasses seven disciplines, namely Agricultural Statistics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Entomology, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Successful candidates will be assigned responsibilities in various faculties and centers across the university.
Candidates shortlisted for the interviews are required to bring original and self-attested photocopies of essential documents, including the application form, date of birth certificate, mark sheets, degree certificates, research publications, reservation certificates, domicile certificate, and other testimonials. It is crucial to note that participation in the interview does not guarantee selection; final decisions will be contingent upon document verification.
The notice underscores the importance of adhering to ethical practices, cautioning against the submission of forged documents or engaging in canvassing. Any such actions may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process. Additionally, the notice clarifies that no additional interview call letters will be issued, and non-appearance on the specified date will result in the forfeiture of candidature.
