JKPSC Recruitment For Health and Medical Education Department
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced recruitment for the Health and Medical Education Department, seeking applications for 163 posts of Medical Officer (Allopathic). This opportunity is available to applicants domiciled in the UT of J&K who meet the specified qualifications and age criteria. The notification, No. 03 PSC (DR-P) of 2024, was issued on 5th March 2024.

The vacancies are for the position of Medical Officer with a salary in Level-9 (52,700 – 1,66,700). The minimum qualification required for this role is an MBBS degree. Regarding age limits, OM category candidates and Inservice candidates/Government personnel must be under 40 years, while PHC category candidates should be under 42 years as of 1st January 2024.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee, with Rs. 1,000/- for General Category candidates, Rs. 500/- for Reserved candidates, and no fee for PHC Candidates.
