Job Opportunity: Financial Literacy Counsellors at Ellaquai Dehati Bank
Responsibilities:
Ellaquai Dehati Bank invites applications for the role of Financial Literacy Counsellors. This is a contractual position for an initial period of 2 years, with potential extension based on performance. As a Financial Literacy Counsellor, you will be based at our financial literacy centers in Anantnag and Udhampur, where you’ll play a crucial role in educating and empowering our clients in financial matters.
Responsibilities:
You will conduct financial literacy programs and workshops to educate individuals on banking products, services, and financial management principles. Additionally, providing personalized counseling to clients on budgeting, saving, borrowing, and other financial matters will be part of your role. Collaboration with community organizations and local authorities to promote financial literacy initiatives is also expected. Keeping up with developments in the financial industry and updating educational materials accordingly, as well as maintaining accurate records of client interactions and program outcomes are essential responsibilities.
Requirements:
Applicants should be retired officers from any Schedule Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in JMGS-1 and above. The maximum age limit is 63 years as of April 1, 2024. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, and prior experience in financial education or counseling are preferred.
