JKSSB Website Down Ahead of FAA Exam, Candidates Directed to Alternative Link

The official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), www.jkssb.nic.in, is currently experiencing technical difficulties, causing inconvenience for candidates set to participate in the JKSSB Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) exam tomorrow.
As reported by Wattan Daily, JKSSB acknowledged the issue via a tweet earlier today, attributing the website’s unavailability to “some technical glitch/server error.” In response, the Board provided an alternative link, ssbjk.com/admitcard, for candidates to access and download their admit cards for the upcoming FAA exam.
The JKSSB FAA exam, scheduled for January 28, 2024 (Sunday), is expected to witness a significant turnout at various centers across Jammu and Kashmir. Admit cards, containing vital details such as exam date, time, and center, are mandatory for all candidates. The inability to retrieve these crucial documents has sparked concern among applicants.
Assuring candidates, JKSSB has affirmed that the alternative link will remain active throughout the night to facilitate timely downloading of admit cards for tomorrow’s exam. The Board has advised applicants encountering difficulties with the alternative website to attempt accessing it again after a period to alleviate congestion. Additionally, JKSSB has provided a helpline number to assist applicants in need.
