Youth injured after wire lifter goes uncontrolled from his hands in South Kashmir

In Pulwama district of South Kashmir, a youth sustained injuries in a distressing incident when a wire lifter slipped from his grasp in his native village on Saturday, as per officials’ reports. Identified as Shahid Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohd Mir and a resident of Rakhi Litter Pulwama, the young man was undergoing treatment at the district hospital with a reported history of trauma to his right arm.

According to accounts received by the news agency Kashmir Scroll, Shahid was engaged in his daily labor activities within an apple orchard in Italy, his native village, when the unfortunate incident occurred. While operating a wire lifter, the device suddenly slipped from his hands, resulting in a critical injury to his right arm.

The severity of Shahid’s condition prompted medical intervention at the district hospital in Pulwama, where he was initially stabilized before being transferred to SKIMS Srinagar for further treatment.
