Two Militant Associates Arrested Along With Arms And Ammunition in Shopian

In Imamsahib area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, police announced the arrest of two militant associates alongside the seizure of arms and ammunition. The operation, conducted by a joint team of Police and 34 RR army during a cordon and search operation, resulted in the apprehension of two hard-core Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

The seized items included one pistol, two grenades, and eight rounds of pistol ammunition. The arrested individuals were identified as Zaffar Azad Ganie, son of Mohd Azad Ganie, and Amir Ahmad, son of Zahoor Ahmad Mir, both residents of Motjan Shopian. The officer in charge provided these details.
