Tragedy Strikes: SPO Succumbs to Injuries After Road Accident

A Special Police Officer (SPO) has lost his life after succumbing to injuries sustained in a road accident on August 3.

The SPO, identified as Muhammad Maqbool, was a resident of the Gurez area of Bandipora.

The accident occurred when Maqbool was driving his Scooty in Bandipora and was hit by a speeding vehicle.

He was initially shifted to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Dawar for treatment.

Later, he was referred to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura for further treatment.

Despite efforts to save his life, Maqbool breathed his last late at night.

The police have registered a case and have taken up investigations into the accident.

The incident has left the family and colleagues of Muhammad Maqbool in a state of mourning.
