Sachin Tendulkar Honors J-K Para Cricketer Hussain Lone: The Real Hero

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recently honored Jammu and Kashmir’s Para cricket team captain, Amir Hussain Lone, praising his perseverance and inspiring journey during a visit to Kashmir.

Tendulkar fulfilled his promise to meet Lone in person after being impressed by a video of the Kashmiri batter training diligently despite his physical limitations.

Tendulkar commended Lone for becoming a role model for aspiring cricketers, highlighting his determination, willpower, and passion for the game.

As a token of appreciation, Tendulkar gifted Lone a personalized bat with an inspiring message, “To Amir, the real hero. Keep inspiring,” accompanied by his signature.

Posting about the meeting on social media, Tendulkar wrote, “To Amir, the real hero. Keep inspiring! It was a pleasure meeting you.”

Despite losing both his arms in a tragic accident at the age of 8, Hussain Lone developed a unique playing style and has been playing cricket professionally since 2013.

Tendulkar had expressed his desire to meet Lone after being amazed by a video showcasing his skills, stating that he hoped to acquire a jersey with Lone’s name to commemorate his inspiring journey.
