The deceased, identified as Head Constable Javid Ahmad, was on duty in Ganderbal district when the unfortunate event unfolded.
  
Reports indicate that Ahmad experienced a severe heart attack during the late hours of the night while performing his duties.
  
Despite swift action and efforts to save him, Ahmad could not be revived, and medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
