Police Successfully Arrested Murder Accused After 9 Years in

In a significant breakthrough, the J&K Police in Jammu District have apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for the past nine years. The individual, identified as Mohd. Mussa, son of Saraj Din and a resident of Dak Banglow Maralian, was taken into custody by the Police Station Miran Sahib.

Mohd. Mussa had been on the run since being implicated in a serious criminal case. He was involved in case FIR No. 56/2015 under sections 302, 307, and 452 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC), registered at Police Station Kud.

The arrest came after the police team from Miran Sahib received crucial information regarding Mussa’s whereabouts. Acting on these vital clues, the team, led by SHO PS Miran Sahib, launched a targeted operation to apprehend the fugitive.

Following his arrest, Mohd. Mussa was handed over to the police team from Police Station Kud, District Udhampur. This transfer was necessary to ensure he faced the legal proceedings in connection with the charges against him.

The case against Mussa involves severe allegations, including murder (section 302), attempt to murder (section 307), and house trespass (section 452). His prolonged evasion had complicated the investigation, making this arrest a significant accomplishment for the police.
