Naib Tehsildar Suspended, Time bound Enquiry ordered
Srinagar, Jan 14 (WD):
On January 13, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Pulwama took action by suspending Naib-tehsildar Tral and initiating a time-bound inquiry into his conduct. This decision was prompted by a recommendation from the Addl. Deputy Commissioner Tral.
As a consequence of the suspension, Sh. Altaf Ahmad Naib Tehsildar Tral was immediately placed under suspension and attached to the office of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama. This action will remain in effect pending the completion of the inquiry. Simultaneously, Sh. Ab Rashid Naib Tehsildar Lurgam has been assigned the responsibility of looking after the charge of Nayabat Tral, in addition to his regular duties during this period.
The responsibility for conducting the inquiry has been entrusted to the Addl. Deputy Commissioner Awantipora. The order specifies that the inquiry report must be furnished within a period of one month, emphasizing the urgency and commitment to a prompt resolution of the matter. This comprehensive approach underscores the commitment to transparency and accountability in administrative matters.
