Man Mauled to Death by Wild Bear in

A tragic incident occurred in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

A 27-year-old man, Mohd Cheriya, was mauled to death by a wild black bear.

The attack took place in a forest area at Halander around 8 am.

Cheriya, a resident of Saroor, was grazing his cattle in the forest when the bear attacked him.

The bear severely injured Cheriya, who succumbed to his injuries before being taken to the hospital.

Some people rushed to the spot on hearing Cheriya’s cries and chased the bear, which escaped deep into the forest.

The officials confirmed the incident and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

The incident serves as a reminder of the risks and dangers posed by wild animals in forest areas.
