Lecturer Suspended in North Kashmir Misconduct Allegations Spark Disciplinary Action
The School Education Department has taken disciplinary action against a lecturer in North Kashmir.
The lecturer, Mr. Nazir-ul-Hussain Shah, has been suspended pending an inquiry into his conduct.
Mr. Shah is a lecturer in Environmental Science and was under orders of transfer at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sogam Kupwara.
His suspension was ordered by the School Education Department, effective immediately.
The suspension is in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
During his suspension, Mr. Shah will be attached to the office of the Chief Education Officer, Kupwara.
The Director of School Education Kashmir will conduct an inquiry into the misconduct and submit a report with recommendations to the Administrative Department within 10 days.
The inquiry will investigate allegations of misconduct and non-compliance by Mr. Shah.
