Market Value and Stamp Duty Rates Notification for District Srinagar – 2024

In accordance with Sub-Rule 2 (C) of Rule 4 from the Jammu & Kashmir Preparation and Revision of Market Value Guidelines/Rules 2011, the market rates for land and structures in both urban and rural areas of District Srinagar for the year 2024 have been officially released.

These rates, denoted in Rs. lacs per kanal, are detailed in the prescribed formats to ensure transparency and adherence to regulatory standards.

Effective from January 1, 2024, these rates will remain applicable until December 31, 2024. This notification plays a crucial role in guiding property transactions by establishing the official market values. It also impacts the calculation of stamp duty, a vital aspect in property transactions, influencing both buyers and sellers. Stakeholders are advised to familiarize themselves with these rates to facilitate smooth and legally compliant real estate transactions throughout the year.
