- Floral Extravaganza Unveiled: The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar is poised for a dazzling display in the upcoming season, with 1.7 million tulip bulbs, including five new varieties. The revelation, shared by In-Charge Javaid Masood in an exclusive interview with Wattan Daily’s English/Urdu reporter, underscores the garden’s commitment to expanding its vibrant showcase.
- Meticulous Readiness: Despite delays from a consignment from Holland, Javaid Masood detailed the exhaustive preparations for the floral spectacle. Overcoming obstacles, the garden is set to bloom with nearly one lakh more bulbs than the previous year. The extended work period until mid-December highlights the dedication to ensuring a breathtaking experience for visitors, as reported by the Wattan Daily correspondent.
- Community Engagement: The beautification efforts at the Tulip Garden involved the employment of approximately 100 workers, including dedicated gardeners and support staff.
