Accident on jammu srinagar National highway, One Died onspot

March 2 (WD) One person lost their life in a tragic incident when a tanker collided with a hillside along the Jammu Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, as confirmed by the local police on Saturday. The collision occurred near Moud Passi on the aforementioned highway.

The deceased individual’s body has been moved to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Udhampur for further examination through autopsy. The Udhampur police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

In another unfortunate event on February 27, two individuals were killed, and three others sustained injuries in a separate accident in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident involved a van traveling from Reasi to Thub, which veered off the road near Thub village, plunging into a deep gorge.

Upon receiving news of the accident, both the police and local residents promptly launched a rescue operation. The injured passengers were swiftly evacuated from the vehicle and transported to the district hospital in Reasi. Tragically, medical professionals pronounced two of the injured individuals deceased upon their arrival at the hospital.
