9-year-old girl mauled to death by leopard in Central kashmir

March 12 (WD) In Budgam, central Kashmir, tragedy struck as a nine-year-old girl, Rabiya Nisar, fell victim to a leopard attack near her residence in the Samsan area of Khansahib.

The attack resulted in her tragic death, sending shockwaves through the community. Immediately following the incident, Rabiya was rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly, she was declared dead upon arrival.

Authorities from wildlife and other relevant departments swiftly responded to the incident, taking cognizance of the gravity of the situation. In response, plans for a thorough manhunt to locate and capture the leopard responsible for the attack were set in motion.
