NTA to announce details of examination centre for CUET-UG by May 5

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is anticipated to announce details about the examination center for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET-UG) by May 5 or possibly earlier.

This revelation came from Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), who shared the update via his official social media handle. Candidates can expect to begin downloading their admit cards from the NTA website starting in the second week of May 2024.

In response to requests from candidates and stakeholders, the UGC had previously extended the registration deadline for CUET-UG 2024 until April 5, 2024. This extension was aimed at accommodating the needs of applicants and ensuring a smoother registration process.

To further enhance the examination experience, various initiatives have been outlined by the UGC, including the provision of additional test centers, conducting examinations in hybrid mode, ensuring timely availability of admit cards, scheduling breaks between exams held on the same day, and maintaining a moderate difficulty level in tests.

The CUET-UG 2024, which marks the third edition of the exam, is scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 31, 2024. This timeframe coincides with the Lok Sabha elections, adding a unique dimension to the examination period. With the commitment to providing a fair and efficient testing environment, both the NTA and the UGC are working diligently to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for CUET-UG 2024.

The upcoming announcement regarding the examination center details will provide candidates with crucial information necessary for their preparation and planning. As the CUET-UG continues to gain prominence as a key entrance test for undergraduate programs, stakeholders are eagerly awaiting these updates to proceed with their examination preparations and logistical arrangements.
