MHA declares Goldy Brar as Terrorist in Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case

Designation as a Terrorist:
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially labeled Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster, as a terrorist, alleging his orchestration of singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder.

Legal Framework:
The decision is based on the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, which empowers the government to add individuals involved in terrorism to the Fourth Schedule.

Babbar Khalsa International Affiliation:
Goldy Brar, associated with Babbar Khalsa International (listed as a terrorist organization), is accused of various crimes, including cross-border agency backing, multiple killings, promoting radical ideology, making threatening calls, and demanding ransom through social media platforms.

Illegal Activities:
Goldy Brar is implicated in smuggling high-grade arms, ammunition, and explosive materials through drones, supplying weapons for killings, and providing sharpshooters.

Conspiracy and Disruption:
Goldy Brar and associates are alleged to have conspired to disrupt peace, communal harmony, and law and order in the state of Punjab. Their nefarious designs include sabotage, raising terror modules, targeted killings, and other anti-national activities.

International Attention:
Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against Goldy Brar, indicating his international status as a wanted individual. Additionally, he is subject to a non-bailable warrant and Look Out Circular.

Government Action:
In response, the Central Government has amended the Fourth Schedule under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, officially designating Goldy Brar as a terrorist.
