NEET-MDS 2024 Expected to Take Place in Third Week of March, Sources Say

New Delhi, Jan 17 (WD):

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) in 2024 is expected to be held in the third week of March, specifically on March 18, according to official sources. This announcement comes in the wake of the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG).

The Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) has actively urged the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, to provide the official date for the NEET-MDS examination. Dr. Rohan Krishnan, Chairman of FAIMA, took to Twitter to make the request, emphasizing the need for transparency in the exam schedule.

Despite the anticipated schedule, a segment of aspiring candidates for the Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) is advocating for a postponement of the examination. “Concurrently, the NEET-PG 2024, initially set for March 3, 2024, has undergone a rescheduling. The delay was announced on the website and official release stated that NEET-PG 2024 is now slated to take place on July 7, 2024.”

NEET-MDS 2024 serves as the eligibility cum ranking examination for admissions to various MDS courses for the academic year 2024-2025. The examination is conducted by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
