Body of Youth Drowned in Jhelum in North kashmir Retrieved
Srinagar, July 05: The body of a youth who tragically drowned in the river Jhelum while taking a bath in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday has been retrieved.
Reports reaching the news agency Kashmir Scroll confirmed that a youth drowned in the river Jhelum near Jamia at Hajin Bandipora on Thursday. The incident has shocked the local community.
The youth, identified as Nadeem, was 19 years old and a resident of Mir Mohalla Hajin. He was the son of Zahoor Ahmad. Nadeem’s untimely demise has left his family and friends in deep grief.
Eyewitnesses reported that Nadeem was enjoying a bath in the river when he suddenly went missing. Despite immediate efforts by those present, they were unable to save him.
