In a significant breakthrough, the police have arrested two individuals in connection with a murder case in Sopore, North Kashmir. The incident, which occurred on March 20 in Duroo village, saw the discovery of a deceased individual under mysterious circumstances, prompting a thorough investigation by the authorities.

Superintendent of Police Divya D, addressing a press conference, disclosed that the investigation began after the family of the deceased, Manzoor Ahmad Mir, filed a missing complaint on March 19 at the Warpora police post. Following intensive efforts, the police narrowed down their focus to two suspects, who eventually confessed to their involvement in the crime.

The accused, identified as Ubaid Altaf Shah and Tufail Ahmed Hajam, both residents of Pir Mohalla Duroo, were known to the victim. However, personal animosity between them escalated over time, culminating in the tragic demise of the victim, Mushtaq, whose body was discovered in an orchard in Duroo village.
