1. Dense Fog Lingers in Kashmir: For the third consecutive day, dense fog has covered most parts of the Kashmir Valley, with Pahalgam experiencing the coldest temperatures at minus 4.6 degrees Celsius.
2. Weather Forecast for New Year: The Meteorological Department predicts light rain and snowfall at isolated to scattered places on January 3rd and 4th, while dry weather conditions are expected until December 31st.
3. Continued Foggy Mornings: Despite forecasts of dry weather, Director Mukhtar Ahmad anticipates ongoing foggy mornings in the coming days, posing challenges for commuters.
4. Traffic Advisory Issued: Due to low visibility caused by the persistent dense fog, the traffic control room issues a cautionary advisory, urging commuters to exercise extreme caution and follow safety guidelines.
