Weather Forecast for Jammu and Kashmir: Dry Spell with Chance of Thundershowers

Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir

The Kashmir region is expected to experience a dry spell, with no widespread rain predicted for the next three days.

However, day temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3°C, making the weather warmer.

Short thundershowers cannot be ruled out in a few areas, especially during the later part of the day or early morning.

In contrast, the Jammu region is expected to experience overnight or early morning monsoon showers in the plains, including Jammu, Samba, Kathua, and Udhampur districts.

Other parts of Jammu region, including Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar, and Doda districts, may experience thundershowers during the late afternoon or evening hours.

A major spell of rain is predicted for Jammu and Kashmir around July 5-6, with a 60% chance of occurrence.

The forecast suggests a dry spell for now, but the possibility of thundershowers and rain cannot be ruled out entirely.
