Traffic Plan and Advisory for 30-11-2023: Plan Your Journey Wisely!
Yesterday, between 5:00 PM on 28-11-2023 and 5:00 PM on 29-11-2023, the traffic on NH-44 was slow. This was because of four heavy vehicles breaking down and the road conditions not being great at Dalwas. Also, there was only one lane open for traffic at Cafeteria-Mehad, Magerkote, Nachlana between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.
If you’re planning to travel on Jammu-Srinagar NHW, it’s better to do it during the day. Nighttime travel might be tricky due to nomads moving from Kashmir valley to Jammu, causing inconvenience.
For those driving heavy vehicles, please don’t overload, ensure you have enough fuel, and check that your vehicle is fit for the journey.
On 30-11-2023, if the weather is good and the roads are in good condition, all kinds of vehicles will be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway from both sides.
