Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir from Jan 30 to Feb 04:
On 30th-31st Jan, expect the possibility of light to moderate rain/snow in various areas, particularly heavy snowfall in higher reaches (Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Shopian, Kulgam, and Anantnag District)
1st-2nd Feb, Conditions will be generally cloudy with light rain/snow in some areas on 1st-2nd Feb, and a chance of light to moderate rain/snow in many places.
In the Jammu Division, intermittent light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in plains and light snowfall in higher reaches is expected during 30-31st Jan & 3-4th Feb.
Advisory ⚠: Temporary road closures in higher reaches and important passes (Sinthan pass, Mughal Road, Sadhna & Razdan pass, Zojila, etc.) are likely on 30-31st Jan. Travelers should plan accordingly. Farmers are advised to withhold irrigation and fertilizer application, draining excess water from orchards and fields during the mentioned period. Stay cautious.
