RRB NTPC Online Application for 8850 Graduate and Undergraduate Posts 2025
Railway Recruitment Board invites applications for 8850 NTPC graduate and undergraduate posts across India. Salary up to Rs.35000. Apply before 27 November 2025.
The Railway Recruitment Board has released the short notification for Non-Technical Popular Categories for the year 2025-26. A total of 8850 posts are available for both Graduate and Undergraduate level positions across various zones of Indian Railways. The notification includes Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and other NTPC posts.
As per the notice, the age limit for these posts is between 18 to 36 years for graduate-level and 18 to 33 years for undergraduate-level positions. The pay levels range from Rs.18000 to Rs.35000 depending on the post. Candidates must have completed 12th or Graduation from a recognized institution to be eligible. The recruitment process will include computer-based tests, skill tests, document verification, and medical examination.
Interested applicants can apply online through the official RRB websites. The application window for Graduate Level posts (CEN 06/2025) opens on 21 October 2025 and closes on 20 November 2025, while for Undergraduate Level posts (CEN 07/2025), it opens on 28 October 2025 and ends on 27 November 2025. Applications must be submitted online only.

The registration process for RRB NTPC 2025 will begin from 21 October 2025 for graduates and 28 October 2025 for undergraduates. Notification Date: 29 September 2025. Start Date of Application: 21 October 2025 for Graduate Level and 28 October 2025 for Undergraduate Level. Last Date of Application: 20 November 2025 for Graduate Level and 27 November 2025 for Undergraduate Level.
Vacancy Details:
The Railway Recruitment Board has announced 8850 vacancies. These include 5800 posts for graduate-level candidates and 3050 posts for undergraduate-level candidates. Graduate posts include Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Traffic Assistant. Undergraduate posts include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the educational qualification and age requirements as per the official notification. Graduate-level applicants must hold a degree from a recognized university, while undergraduate-level applicants must have passed 12th. Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer is required for some posts. The age limit for graduate-level posts is 18 to 36 years and for undergraduate-level posts is 18 to 33 years. Relaxations apply as per government rules.
How to Apply:
Applicants are required to apply online through the official RRB website corresponding to their region. Applications submitted by any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates should carefully verify their details using Aadhaar before submission.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs.500 for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PWD, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward candidates must pay Rs.250. A partial refund of the fee will be made after appearing in the first stage of the computer-based test.
Selection Process:
The selection process for RRB NTPC 2025 will consist of multiple stages including Computer-Based Test 1, Computer-Based Test 2, Typing or Aptitude Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The final appointment will depend on the candidate’s performance and medical fitness.
