Srinagar November 29:

Srinagar got colder on November 29, as expected. Night temperatures dropped in most places, but they were still higher than usual in Jammu and Kashmir. The weatherman predicted light to medium rain in flat areas and snow in higher regions from November 29 to 30. There’s also a chance of thunderstorms and lightning in a few places. The Meteorological Department issued a “yellow warning” for isolated thunderstorms and lightning in both Jammu and Kashmir during these two days.

They use color codes to show how cautious we should be. Yellow means we should keep an eye on the situation. From December 1st to 6th, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy. On December 1st-2nd, it’s expected to be partly to generally cloudy, December 3rd generally cloudy, and from December 4th to 7th, partly to generally cloudy.

Talking about temperatures, Srinagar got as low as 0.8°C, compared to 3.9°C the night before, but it’s still 1.7°C higher than usual for this time of year. The weather expert suggests paying attention to these changes and using the color-coded warnings to stay prepared.
