Sachin Tendulkar relishes Kashmiri cuisine in Pampore, set to attend Khelo India Games in Gulmarg

On a memorable Monday, Tendulkar traversed from the enchanting Pahalgam to the snowy haven of Gulmarg, pausing along the way to immerse himself in the flavors and hospitality of Kashmir.

Amidst the valley’s breathtaking scenery, amidst rain and snowfall, Tendulkar visited a local shop renowned for its Kashmiri almonds, saffron, and walnuts, indulging in a cup of exquisite Kashmiri saffron tea infused with almonds.

Expressing his admiration for Kashmiri cuisine, Tendulkar delighted in the quality and taste of Kashmiri saffron, garnering warm welcomes from local traders who offered him an array of regional delicacies and traditional shawls.

Tendulkar’s presence ignited excitement among fans, both young and old, who eagerly sought autographs and photographs with the cricket legend, despite the inclement weather.

The cricket icon’s journey continued to Gulmarg, where he and his family prepared to stay at a luxurious hotel ahead of the Khelo India Games, set to commence on February 21st.

The fourth edition of the Khelo India Games in Gulmarg promises to be a grand affair, with Tendulkar gracing the inaugural ceremony alongside dignitaries from across the nation.
