Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024
The Indian Army has announced the release of the Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) notification for Army Agniveer Men, Women, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, Sepoy Pharma, JCO Religious Teacher Dharm Guru, and other posts for the year 2024.
The Indian Army selects the Agniveers through the Agnipath Scheme, providing a golden opportunity for India’s youth to experience Army life without a long-term commitment. Selected Agniveers will serve in the Indian Army for four years. Interested and eligible candidates can fill online application forms on joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is tentatively scheduled for April 2024. Candidates who clear the CEE will undergo physical and medical examinations. The vacancy details for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 include positions such as Agniveer General Duty (GD), Technical Assistant, Store Keeper, Tradesman (Men), Sepoy Pharma, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (NA), and Religious Teacher.
Eligibility criteria vary based on educational qualifications and age limits. For example, Agniveer (GD) requires passing the Matriculation exam with 45% marks, while Agniveer (Technical) necessitates passing the Intermediate exam with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. The age limit ranges from 17.5 to 23 years, with upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.
To apply, candidates must pay an application fee, likely to be ₹250 for the year 2024, via debit or credit card. Successful Agniveers will receive a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution with matching government contribution upon completing their engagement period.
Candidates can apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The application release date is 09-02-2024, with online applications accepted from 13-02-2024 to 22-03-2024. To apply, candidates should visit the official website, register or log in, fill in required details, pay the fee, and submit the form. Finally, they should download and print the duly filled exam form for future reference.
