SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 Check Short Notice, How to Apply

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2024, aiming to fill vacancies for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator (Grade A) positions. The total number of vacancies is yet to be notified.

Candidates applying for LDC/JSA, PA/SA, and DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) positions should have completed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. However, DEOs in C&AG must have passed the 12th standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.

The age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 27 years, with relaxation provided for candidates belonging to different categories as per the rules. While the application fee for General Category candidates is Rs. 100/-, it’s exempted for females, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Key dates include the release of the detailed notification and the commencement of the registration process in the first week of April 2024. The Tier-1 examination is scheduled to take place between June to July 2024, with Tier 2 dates to be notified later.

Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official SSC website, completing the registration process, filling out the application form, uploading necessary documents, paying the application fee (if applicable), and finally submitting the form. A printout of the application should be kept for future reference.
