SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, has announced job openings for various positions as part of an ICMR-funded project titled, “Prevention Of Down Syndrome Birth Through Awareness Campaign, Genetic Counseling and Development of Pre-Conceptional Genetic Markers.” The available positions are Project Research Scientist-II, Field/Office Support Staff, and Data Entry Operator.
The Project Research Scientist-II position requires a Ph.D. in Human Genetics, Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, or Biotechnology. The salary for this position will be as per ICMR guidelines.
For the Field/Office Support Staff position, candidates should have completed 10+2 with a Diploma in MLT, DMLT, ITI, or equivalent. The salary will be as per ICMR guidelines.
Candidates interested in the Data Entry Operator position should have completed 10+2 with a three-year diploma in Computer Applications, Bachelor of Computer Applications, or an equivalent qualification. The salary for this role will also follow ICMR guidelines.
The application process requires candidates to submit their applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents to the office of Advanced Centre for Human Genetics, Sheri-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, by 10th March 2024.
