March 10 (WD) The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has issued a notification (CEN No. 02/2024) inviting online applications for various categories of Technicians Grade III and for the post of Technician Grade I Signal. This recruitment drive aims to fill 9144 vacancies in the RRB.

The vacancy details for RRB Technician Recruitment Notification 02/2024 are as follows:
Technician Grade I: 1092 posts. The qualification required is a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute. Alternatively, candidates can have a B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of the mentioned basic streams from a recognized University/Institute. Three years Diploma in Engineering in the mentioned streams or a Degree in Engineering in those streams is also acceptable. The age limit is 18–36 years as of 01-07-2024, with a salary at Level 5 (Initial Pay: Rs.29,200/-).
Technician Grade III: 8052 Posts. Candidates should have an ITI in the related trade. The age limit is 18–33 years as of 01-07-2024, with a salary at Level 2 (Initial Pay: Rs.19,900/-).
The application fee is Rs. 500/- for general candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PWDs/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class candidates. The fee payment should be made online through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.
