Ministry of Home Affairs Announces BSF Recruitment 2024

The Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Border Security Force (BSF), has initiated the recruitment process for various Group B and C positions within the BSF Air Wing and Engineering Setup.

This recruitment drive aims to bolster the workforce by filling critical roles such as Sub-Inspector, Junior Engineer, Head Constable, Constable, and Assistant Aircraft Mechanic, among others. These positions play pivotal roles in ensuring the efficiency and operational readiness of the BSF, a crucial component of India’s border security apparatus.

To facilitate the application process, candidates are directed to the official website of BSF recruitment, accessible at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in. The online application window opened on 16th March 2024 and will remain active until 15th April 2024. Prospective applicants are encouraged to thoroughly review the vacancy details, qualifications required, and age criteria specified for each position before proceeding with the application process. This step ensures that candidates meet the necessary eligibility requirements and align their qualifications with the job roles offered.

The vacancy details outline various positions along with the requisite qualifications, pay scales, and age limits. For instance, candidates applying for Sub-Inspector (Works) positions must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with the age not exceeding 30 years as of 15th April 2024. Similarly, candidates for Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical) positions should hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with the same age limit criteria. Other positions such as Head Constable (Plumber), Head Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Generator Operator), Constable (Generator Mechanic), and Constable (Lineman) have specific educational qualifications and age criteria as well.

The application process entails several steps, including registration or sign-in, filling in accurate personal and educational details, uploading scanned copies of necessary documents such as photograph, signature, and relevant certificates, reviewing the entered information meticulously, paying the application fee (if applicable), and finally submitting the completed application form.
