Srinagar, Feb 26 (WD) Position Announcement: Contractual Assistant Professor (Design Thinking) at IUST, Awantipora, Kashmir

The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir, is seeking a Contractual Assistant Professor in Design Thinking. Responsibilities include course design, teaching, curriculum development, and research in the field of design thinking.

Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4-year Diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Architecture, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with first class or equivalent. Master’s Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of Professional Design Experience in Industry/ Research Organization/ Design Studios.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on academic merit and interview in a 50:50 ratio. Shortlisting may precede the interview based on academic merit. For one vacancy, 20 candidates will be shortlisted initially, with an additional 5 candidates for each subsequent vacancy.
