India Post GDS Recruitment Notification 2024
India Post has released a notification inviting online applications for 44,228 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks].
Interested candidates can apply online at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The applications are invited to fill the vacant posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) in different offices of the Department of Posts.
The eligibility criteria for the posts include passing the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
The selection will be based on marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/ Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard.
The age limit for the posts is 18 to 40 years. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of computer, knowledge of cycling, and adequate means of livelihood.
The salary for the posts includes Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under: BPM: Rs. 12,000 – 29,380/- and ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs. 10,000 – 24,470/-.
