GMC Srinagar Recruitment 2024 – Junior Grade Nurse , Laboratory Assistant Posts
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement against the following positions on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020, on the terms and conditions listed below:
Name of Posts:
Jr. Grade Nurse – 50 Posts
Qualification: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery/B.Sc Nursing from any recognized institution/State.
Laboratory Assistant – 10 Posts Qualification: Medical Faculty/J&K Paramedical council. 10+2 with science or above qualification with minimum diploma in Laboratory course or having Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology Course from any recognized institution/State Medical Faculty/J&K paramedical council.

Note:
Candidates must possess all required documents, and no document/certificate issued beyond the cutoff date shall be accepted/entertained.
In case of a large number of applications, candidates shall be shortlisted for the written test as per availability of space/resources.
Selection shall be made purely based on merit obtained by the candidate in the written test (to be held subsequently).
If any post of the aforementioned categories gets filled up on a regular basis during the intervening period from the date of issuance of notification to the date of selection, such posts shall be deemed withdrawn/deleted from the notification, and the final selection shall be made as per the availability of posts at the time of selection.
In case of a tie in the merit obtained in the written test, specific procedures shall be followed to break the tie, including considering the percentage of marks, graduation vs. diploma, and age of the candidate.
Instructions for applying online:
Necessary instructions for filling up of online form and submission of fee details shall be available on Government Medical College, Srinagar website (www.gmcs.ac.in).
A link for filling up of online application forms shall be available on the official website of Government Medical Colleges, Srinagar from 11-03-2024 to 20-03-2024. Candidates are required to apply online through the official website of Government Medical College, Srinagar only.
The requisite original documents including domicile certificate issued by the competent authority on the format prescribed for the purpose must be produced at the time of document verification or as and when sought by the Government Medical College, Srinagar.
Candidates are required to upload the images of their recent photograph and specimen signature which should be uploaded in (jpeg) format only. Candidates have to deposit a fee of Rs. 500/= (Five Hundred only) through online mode only i.e. through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. Applications of those candidates will not be considered who do not pay the fee in online mode.
Candidates must take a print out of the application form and fee receipt after successful filling of the application form.
Candidates cannot edit their application form after submission.
Candidates shall ensure that E-mail ID and Phone Nos. as specified in the online application form are active during the period of selection process.
