March 01(WD) Online applications are being sought from residents of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for various positions at the University of Jammu:

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Junior Engineer, or a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Semi-Professional Assistant: Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree along with a Bachelor’s in Library Science.

Laboratory Assistant (Geography): A Bachelor of Science degree in the relevant subject is required.

Data Entry Operator: Candidates should have either completed their CA or graduated in any discipline with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA).

Steno-Typist: Graduates with a minimum shorthand speed of 60 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute are eligible for this position.

Junior Assistant: Graduates with a typing speed of 40 words per minute are eligible.

Section Cutter: Candidates should have completed middle school and possess a certificate course from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or have passed middle school with proficiency in the trade.
