Recruitment Announcement for Sub-Inspectors (Exe.) and Constables (Exe.) in RPF/RPSE
In accordance with Rule 28 of RPF Rules 1987 and Section 8 of the RPF Act 1957, superseding provisions in RPF Directive-43, we hereby issue the following directive for the recruitment process in RPF/RPSF.
Vacancy Determination:
- The Ministry of Railways will periodically decide the number of vacancies to be filled.
- The current recruitment round aims to fill 2000 Constable and 250 Sub-Inspector positions in RPF/RPSF.
- Adherence to government instructions for post-based roster implementation is mandatory.
- 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen, and 15% for women, following government guidelines.
Recruitment Process:
- Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Conducted by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
- Phase II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Conducted by Railway Protection Force (RPF).
- Phase III: Document Verification
- Conducted by Railway Protection Force (RPF).
- Document Verification to be completed after PET/PMT.
Nomination of Nodal Officer:
- IG/Headquarter or DIG/Establishment, Railway Board, will be nominated as the Nodal Officer.
- The Nodal Officer will coordinate with Railway Recruitment Board for the written examination and related recruitment activities.
