The Ministry of Defence is conducting recruitment for 71 posts, and interested candidates can apply through the prescribed format. The vacancies, spanning roles such as Cook, Civilian Catering Instructor, and Fireman, require applicants to be Indian citizens with at least Matriculation or equivalent qualifications.
To apply, candidates need to submit their applications on plain paper, either typed or neatly handwritten, to the specified address. The applications should be accompanied by self-attested documents and sent in a self-addressed registered envelope with the appropriate postal stamp.
The eligibility criteria include an age limit of 18 to 27 years, with various relaxations based on existing government rules. The last date for application submission is 21 days from the publication date of the advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar (10-02-2024).
The selection process involves technical trade tests, physical tests (where applicable), and a written test. The final selection will be based on merit, considering marks obtained in the written test and qualification in the Skill/Physical/Practical tests, as applicable.
