The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued comprehensive guidelines for candidates preparing to download their admit cards for the forthcoming Patwari exam. Scheduled for March 31, 2024, the OMR-based written examination holds significance in filling 142 vacancies for the Patwari post across Jammu and Kashmir.

Admit cards will be available for download from the official JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in) starting March 24, 2024, commencing at 5:00 PM. Candidates are required to utilize their registered email ID and date of birth to obtain their admit cards. It is crucial to meticulously review the instructions outlined on the admit card to ensure adherence to guidelines.

In the event of any complications encountered during the download process, candidates are encouraged to seek assistance from the JKSSB Helpdesk via phone at 0191-2461335 (Jammu)/0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or through email at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Helpdesk will operate from March 24 to March 31, 2024, during office hours exclusively. Furthermore, candidates are advised against expecting physical delivery of admit cards, as they will not be dispatched via post.

      Exam Details and RequirementsThe JKSSB Patwari recruitment examination comprises a multi-step process including a written test, a skill evaluation, and document authentication. To qualify for the Patwari exam, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with proficiency in Urdu.

      The written test consists of two sections. Part I includes a qualifying Urdu language paper, while Part II encompasses an OMR-based examination covering subjects relevant to the Patwari role. Only candidates successful in the Urdu paper will proceed to Part II of the written test.
