JKSSB Announces Selection List for 855 J.E Posts in R&B Deptt, Download List here
Final Selection List for 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works(R&B) Department, advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022.
The J&K Services Selection Board received a requisition for 855 posts of Junior Engineer, Civil from the Public Works (R&B) Department, which were advertised by the Board vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022.
The category-wise break-up of these posts is as follows: Public Works (R&B) Department. Junior Engineer (Civil): 855 posts; OM: 428, SC: 68, ST: 34, RBA: 34, ALCI: 85, PSP: 35, IB: 85, EWS: 85
The requisite qualification for selection against these posts is a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute/Indian University, or a Degree in Civil Engineering, or AMIE Section (A&B) INDIA.
The cut-off/last date for applying for these posts was 27.12.2022. The OMR based Written Examination for selection against these 855 posts of Jr. Engineer, Civil was conducted by the JKSSB on 19.11.2023.
The Result/Score-sheet of the OMR based Written Examination was notified by the Board vide Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/89/2023-03 (7314803) dated 07.12.2023.
The Document Verification of the candidates falling in the consideration zone was conducted from 13.12.2023 to 29.12.2023, both at Jammu and Srinagar.
A selection Committee was constituted for preparing the Provisional Selection List for these posts. The Provisional Selection List was approved by the Board in its 257th meeting held on 25.01.2024.
The Provisional Selection List was notified vide No JSSB-Secy/2/2024-03(E-7390977) dated 29.01.2024, seeking objections from the candidates. A total of 64 cases were kept withheld for various reasons.
Various representations were received, and candidates were advised to submit the requisite documents within a period of five days.
The proposal for notifying the Final Selection List was placed in the Board in its 261st meeting held on 19.02.2024, which approved its notification.
Now, therefore, the Final Selection List of the candidates for the 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works (R&B) Department, advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022, is hereby notified.
