J&K Police Constable Vaccancies Details, 4022 Posts, Download Notification

In accordance with the notification issued vide S.O 214 dated 1st July, 2021, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police Rules, 1960, the selection process for the direct recruitment posts of Constables in the J&K Police will be conducted by the J&K Services Selection Board, following the prescribed rules and procedures.
Government of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to announce 4022 vacancies for the position of Constables in Pay Level -2 (19900-63200). The vacancies are categorized as follows for direct recruitment:
Constable J&K Armed/IRP (UT Cadre): 1689 vacancies, Constable SDRF (UT Cadre): 100 vacancies, Constable Telecommunication (UT Cadre): 202 vacancies, Constable (Driver) Telecommunication (UT Cadre): 22 vacancies, Constable Photographer (UT Cadre): 2 vacancies, Constable Executive Police (Divisional Cadre Jammu): 1249 vacancies, Constable Executive Police (Divisional Cadre Kashmir): 440 vacancies
Please note that the vacancies are further divided based on categories such as OM (Open Merit), ST (Scheduled Tribes), SC (Scheduled Castes), RBA (Residents of Backward Areas), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), ALC (Residents of Areas Adjoining Line of Actual Control/International Border), OSC (Other Social Castes), and PSP (Pahari Speaking People).
Additionally, there is horizontal reservation for the following categories:
Women: 15%, SPO (Special Police Officers): 15%, Ex-Servicemen: 6%, VHIG (Victims of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen or militants): 4%
