JE JAL SHAKTI Selection List declared by JKSSB
Srinagar, Jan 14 (WD):
The Jal Shakti Department issued an indent (JSD/NGJ/65/2021) on 10.08.2021, referring 163 Junior Engineer (Civil) positions to the J&K Services Selection Board. These were subsequently advertised through Notification No. 05 of 2021 dated 22.09.2021.

Qualification Requirement:
Candidates needed a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute/Indian university, or a degree in Civil Engineering, AMIE Section (A&B) INDIA.
Examination and Result:
The JKSSB conducted a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 05.12.2022 to 06.12.2022. The result/score-sheet was published on 04.11.2023 (Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/54/2022-03).
Document Verification:
Candidates falling within the consideration zone underwent Document Verification on 01.01.2024 (Jammu & Srinagar) and supplementary DV on 04.01.2024.
Selection Committee and Provisional Selection List:
On 03.01.2024, the JKSSB formed a Selection Committee which prepared the Provisional Selection List based on merit and eligibility. The Board approved this list in its 255th meeting on 12.01.2024.
Notification of Provisional Selection List:
The Provisional Selection List is hereby notified (Annexure-A). It is subject to OAS/Writ Petition(s), if any, pending in the competent court, and any pending enquiry involving candidates listed.
Important Points:
- This Provisional Selection List is subject to change based on received objections. Mere inclusion in the list does not guarantee selection, which will be finalized after addressing objections based on merit.
- Candidates aggrieved with the list or needing to furnish documents/clarifications may email jejsd2024@gmail.com within five days from this Notification date, including complete details like Name, Address, Roll Number, and Contact Number.
This notification is subject to court outcomes and any ongoing enquiries, and representations beyond the stipulated five-day period will not be entertained.
