JKBOSE Issues Notification for Correction in Class 9th Student Records for 2022-24 Session
Educational Institutions Urged to Take Prompt Action Following Recent Notifications
Jammu, December 4, 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released a crucial notification regarding corrections in the registered particulars of Class 9th students for the academic session 2022-24. This follows up on previous notifications, specifically No. F(Regn-B)/Corr./SZ/9th/JD/23 dated 27-03-2023 and F(Regn-B)/Corr./9th/JD/23 dated 30-09-2023.
In this latest communication, all affiliated Government and Private High/Higher Secondary institutions falling under Jammu Division are instructed to promptly apply for any necessary corrections in the registered particulars of Class 9th students. This correction process is applicable to candidates who are slated to appear in the Class 10th examination during the Session Annual Regular, 2024, JD.
To facilitate the correction process, a fee of Rs.1000/- per candidate will be applicable from December 4, 2023, to December 18, 2023. The concerned educational institutions are required to submit correction cases, accompanied by relevant supporting documents, through offline mode. The supporting documents must include the original marks card checklist of Class 8th, mentioning R.R Numbers.
The Assistant Secretary/s/Incharge Officers of Sub/Branch Office of JKBOSE have been entrusted with the responsibility to consolidate and verify the correction cases in alignment with the 8th class marks card. All eligible cases must be forwarded to the R.R Section, JD, in hard copy strictly adhering to the guidelines provided in Annexure-A by December 20, 2023.
Educational institutions are urged to adhere to the outlined timeline to ensure a seamless correction process for the benefit of Class 9th students gearing up for the upcoming Class 10th examination in 2024.
