University Professor Convicted by Court for Sexual Harrasment at Kashmir

A SKUAST professor in Wadoora has been convicted of sexual harassment by a local court in Sopore, north Kashmir. The court sentenced the accused, formerly the HOD Extension, to one year in jail and a 15,000 rupee fine.
The trial concluded in a record nine months, highlighting the legal system’s commitment to addressing such sensitive matters. The Prosecution CIM Court in Sopore successfully secured the conviction.
